"It's official too, it was rated a clear win for the young lad by those who make their living rating fights. Man oh man did we go crazy when we saw that, a "soft" 23 year old whipping Jerome's a s s in front of the hometown fans. Even though we lost this game it will turn this series!! This was like Gretzky beating the Grim Reaper, LMAO! Not quite that surprising but you know what I mean.....
Anyone hear the TV guys? Melorse and the boys couldn't even believe it, they went crazy!! Don't know if you all saw it but Jerome ran the rest of the night too, he didn't want any more. I think we shook his confidence a little bit, he took a couple of haymakers to the jaw that must still be hurting. Once he was down on the ice still trying to hit Vinny it's because he knew he how bad he got beat. If you watch it in slow motion the closes he ever got to hitting Vinny was when the ref was holding him down, probably a little safer too huh? I almost feel sorry for Jerome, in front of his family and friends some kid pounding you like that!? LOL.
Later both Sarich and Pratt tried to get him to go again but he wanted no part of it. If he can run like that maybe he should see about getting in the Summer Olympics. I got hockey buddies calling me from all over the country that hated the Lightning up until now but are huge Vinny fans now. That a s s kicking made my whole week-end!! My hands are sore I slapped so many high fives, the bar I was in went nuts when it happened!"
